Ginger Bread Mug Cake

COOK TIME – 2 mins

SERVES – 2 Cups

INGREDIENTS: –

  • 1/2 Cup Oats Flour
  • 1/4 Tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 Tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Ginger Powder
  • 1 Tbsp Grated Ginger
  • 1/8 Cup Milk
  • 1/8 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 1/4 Cup Yogurt (Dahi)
  • 1/4 Cup Jaggery Powder

METHOD: –

1. Whisk all Dry ingredients together (Oats Flour, Baking Powder, Baking Soda, Cinnamon Powder, Ginger Powder, Jaggery Powder)

2. Add Milk, Coconut Oil, Yogurt and Grated Ginger one after the other

3. Transfer the mix into microwavable mugs or in to a bowl, Microwave for 1 min and again for 40 seconds; check with a toothpick, it should come out clean, if not microwave for 10 seconds again.

Notes: – Feel free to add chocolate chips or nuts to enhance this mug-cake, don’t forget to grease the mug with a little oil or butter…unless you wish to scrape it off with a spoon or fork like we did after gobbling on this mug-cake.
