Strength Of A Woman

I admired her,

Not for her smile or her laugh,

Though it was beautiful.

I admired her,

Not for her eyes,

Though they shone so brightly.

I admired her,

Not for her chirpiness or her ability to talk,

Though it could instantly brighten someones day.

I admired her,

Not for her talents or her hidden potential,

Though it knows no end and will stop the world when it is brought to display.

I admired her,

Not for her resolve or her strong headedness,

Though it could bring the mightiest to their knees.

I admired her,

Not for her kindness or humility,

Although it could get a rock to shed a tear.

I admired her,

Not for her tantrums or all the fussy eating,

Though that made her look the cutest.

I admired her,

Not for her ability to care for everyone around her,

Though she did so without thinking twice.

I admired her,

For her heart that had ability to shed a tear for everyone she cared about,

For her emotions knew no boundaries and drove her always,

For all those battle scars and wounds that she displayed but never let them slow her down,

For a force of nature she’d be when she knows her real potential.

I admired her for her strength, her abilities and her courage,

Her humanity at its purest,

I admired her for her femininity,

And the way she always owned it.
